The railway is open from Caernarfon to Rhyd Ddu. Corderoy is working on the extension from Rhyd Ddu to Portmadog Harbour, a distance of 13 miles which is split into 15 sections plus the Cross Town Link through Portmadog each section forming a separate contract..
