      <title>Sunderland Strategic Transport Corridor</title>

      <description>We are very pleased to announce that following a Quality/Price tender Corderoy has been awarded the contract for Cost Consultancy Services by Sunderland City Council on Phase II of this project.


Sunderland Strategic Transport Corridor (SSTC) is a scheme that will open and link major regeneration sites within the City including those targeted in Sunderland ARCs business plan.


Phase II of the project involves the construction of a new landmark bridge over the River Wear and associated highways to link in with the existing network.


The project is programmed for completion in 2015.</description>

      <description>Our role as cost consultant to WHR has involved us working in spectacular countryside and as well as challenging construction methods such as renovating old rock tunnels.


The project consists of a single track narrow gauge railway between Caernarfon and Porthmadog through the scenic Snowdonia National Park.&amp;nbsp; A milestone was recently achieved in opening the extension of the line through the Aberglasyn Pass recently voted the Best View in Britain.


Corderoy has been appointed on all sections of the project since 2005 from our local Bangor office.</description>

      <description>We have been appointed by Direct Route, a consortium of both Irish and European Contractors, to prepare quantities for this 57 km long Motorway/Dual Carriageway in Ireland.


The project consists of 4 grade separated junctions, 3 roundabout junctions and over 50 individual structures.&amp;nbsp; The client for the project is the National Roads Authority and this scheme forms a part of the Second PPP Roads Programme which has a combined capital value of approximately 1 billion Euros.</description>
