Narrow-Gauge Rail Makes a Comeback in the Welsh Highlands
Bangor Office have extended their involvement in narrow-gauge steam railways with the Reconstruction of the Welsh Highland Railway from Caernarfon to Portmadog.
The railway is open from Caernarfon to Rhyd Ddu.
Corderoy is working on the extension from Rhyd Ddu to Portmadog Harbour, a distance of 13 miles which is split into 15 sections plus the Cross Town Link through Portmadog each section forming a separate contract..
The current programme of work envisages completion of the project by June 2008.
